Today we are excited to announce the launch of Social Recruiting Summit 2009. This conference was developed specifically with help from a number of the Talent Acquisition professionals who are most active in using Social Media so we could develop an event that goes beyond the hype and gives the recruiting community real info for us to use.

Watch here as Susan Burns, who will serve as chairwoman, announces the Summit at this year’s ERE Expo 2009 Spring conference in San Diego.

Check out the agenda and session leaders, and stay tuned for more updates on this in the coming days. Only part of the agenda will be programed ahead of time; the rest will be left up to you, the attendees, to decide exactly what you hope to get out of the event.

The event will be held at Google’s headquarters (The Googleplex) in Mountain View, CA so we can take advantage of the energy at one of the most innovative locations on earth.
