Heather Flynn joined Waggener Edstrom Worldwide in September 2004. As Talent Acquisition Manager, she develops strategic staffing plans to attract the best talent to the agency. She leads the US based talent acquisition team and ongoing initiatives. Those initiatives include Digital Talent Attraction – utilizing cutting edge technologies and social media engagement to proactively recruit talent; University outreach program – developing partnerships with top universities across the country and developing the internship program; Diversity outreach – building a multicultural workforce that embraces and values different backgrounds; and the Employee Referral Program- because talented people know talented people. Heather recruits for the agency’s Global Public Affairs and Social Innovation Practices. She also leads the executive search function internationally for the agency. Heather has more than 15 years experience in the recruiting & talent acquisition field.

Before joining the agency, Heather was the Talent Manager for Hollywood Entertainment Corp, which included talent acquisition at the corporate office, succession planning, talent review, and managing a team of 6. Other staffing & recruiting roles include: Staffing Manager for Nautilus Inc., and Sr. Recruiter for Intel and InFocus. Prior to staffing, Heather spent 5 years in business to business sales.

Heather has a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Willamette University. She lives in Portland, OR with her husband and daughter, and enjoys the active Pacific NW lifestyle as well as traveling the world.
